Johansson unveils her debut album



Scarlett Johansson played her debut album, 'Anywhere I Lay My Head', to journalists at a listening party in Freshly House of York yesterday.
Billboard reports that the set up took place at Joe's Gin mill in the city.
'Anywhere I Place My Head' features 10 covers of Uncle Tom Waits songs and one master track, 'Song for Jo'; it testament be released on 20 May.
Johansson said that she had originally planned to record book an album of standards but then decided to lionise Waits' cloth.
"His melodies ar so beautiful and his voice is so distinct," she said.
Johansson said that her interpretations of the music legend's songs hold met with his approval.
"I sent him or so of the betimes, early recordings, and he said, 'Go ahead'. I've heard he's really pleased," said the principal.
Piece Johansson has no plans at represent to do live shows, she said the estimate of perchance doing a festival appointment with the musicians world Health Organization worked on the album would be intriguing.
