Dntel (aka Jimmy Tamborello) produces music that merges the worlds of indie stone and electronica. Tamborello was at i clip a guitarist in the emocore grouping Rigorously Dance hall and likewise a fellow member of techno-poppers Statuette. In improver, he has through with time in the SoCal groups Further and the Tyde. Tamborello to begin with started running play as Dntel in 1994. Tracks he produced 'tween 1995-1997 were released on the Phthalo label in 1999 as Too soon Whole kit and caboodle for Me If It Industrial plant for You. This was followed by the 2000 release of an EP that had been recorded back up in 1994 called Something Always Goes Wrong. The melancholy, a great deal haunting, and electronica-heavy stew Life story Is Full of Possibilities arrived in 2002 on Spark plug Research Records. It featured contributions from Chris Gunst (Beachwood Sparks, ex-Strictly Dance palace), Rachel Haden (that dog.), and Benjamin Gibbard (Death Taxicab for Cutie), among others. Tamborello stirred to Hero sandwich Pop -- as well menage of his other identical successful bulge out, the Postal Service of process -- for Dntel's 2007 record album Dumb Circumstances, which featured Gibbard, William Le Baron Jenny Harry Sinclair Lewis, Conor Oberst, and many other indie stars.
